Energy patterns are easier to understand when meals are consistent. This check‑in helps you notice what works without turning eating into a spreadsheet.

The 3-question check‑in

  1. Before: How hungry am I on a 1–10 scale?
  2. After: Do I feel satisfied and clearheaded?
  3. Later: How long did it last before I wanted another snack?

Build a “default meal”

Choose one meal you can repeat 2–3 times per week. Defaults reduce decision fatigue and make patterns easier to spot.

Elements to test

  • protein amount
  • fiber/vegetable volume
  • timing (earlier vs later lunch)

Keep it simple

Change one variable at a time. Small experiments teach you more than big overhauls.
